A non-negotiable is breakfast at Crest, Birubi Beach. Start your day on Australia’s largest moving sand dunes with an Allpress flat white and a steaming-hot shakshuka.
Another fantastic coffee spot in Port Stephens is Little Nel Cafe. With views all over the central area of Nelson Bay and coffee from Newcastle’s Suspension roastery, Little Nel Cafe is the perfect spot for an afternoon pick-me-up.

What’s an amazing lunch spot?
The Point Restaurant boasts breathtaking views of the stunning Soldiers Point waterways and sunsets. Nothing beats cocktails and fresh seafood. The Little Beach Boathouse is the ideal place for lunch if you’re a fan of delicious food with bay views… who isn’t?! May we recommend the squid ink spaghetti with local shellfish? Another great haunt is Final Bay Cellar Cafe, Waltz in off the beach and treat yourself to a seafood share plate.
