Rotating Your Mattress
What does “rotating” mean?
Rotating your mattress means turning it 180 degrees — so the end that was at the head of the bed is now at the foot. You do not need to flip the mattress — you’ll continue sleeping on the same surface.
How often should I rotate?
- First 4 months: Every 2 weeks
- Ongoing care: Once every 3 months (or with each season)
- If you and your partner are different builds: You may benefit from rotating more frequently to balance body impressions.
Rotating regularly supports even wear across the mattress, helping you get the most life and comfort out of your bed.
Cleaning Your Mattress
Keeping your mattress clean helps maintain a healthy sleep environment and ensures it stays fresh and performs well for years.
How often should you clean your mattress?
- Deep clean at least every 6 months.
- If you have allergies or pets in bed, aim for every 2–3 months.
Safe mattress care tips:
- Vacuum regularly with low suction to remove dust and allergens.
- Treat stains fast by blotting with a damp cloth — avoid scrubbing or soaking.
- Keep it dry with a waterproof cover, especially for children’s beds.
- Let it breathe with good ventilation to prevent moisture and odours.
- Skip harsh chemicals to protect internal materials.
- Shield from sunlight to prevent fading.
- Use a mattress protector to guard against dust mites, sweat, and spills.
